Don't recall any of this to have happened there. But I highly suggest upgrading your audio drivers first. Im not sure, but is it because i have to use the dll for bit i have a bit computer? Possibly an issue with the steam download or something, thats where i got it from. Was thinking that the download was comprimised.

Could you, uh, do a search for nvopenal. Your Client did the trick and is greatly appreciated! The function "alSource3i" is in this DLL. All the same errors. Are you running official video drivers?

I did the zip- thing. This was years and years and years ago and I don't know if your computer's generation's nForce drivers included nvidia openAL files Bmpman is starting to make sense and it's actually written reasonably well But it sounds like something I do not want to try alsource3i.sll.
Now I know where there version was inspired from. I remember very, very vaguely hearing that in some cases, nvidia's openal implementation is overriding the proper OpenAL installation in which case FSO will try to use wrong kind of OpenAL - or something.
